In Bryan, College Station and the surrounding areas 118 homes were sold during the month of November 2008. The average sales price was down slightly to $158,219. From the peak of sales in 2006 the number of sales was down about 30% (2006 was an extreme boom year, however, and sales during our "slow" period often fluctuate month to month rather extremely.
273 new listings were added to the MLS in November.
Overall we've noticed an increase in web site traffic, which normally increases about 90 days before most purchases and there is optimism in the Bryan and College Station areas about our real estate market. Leads are up and people are beginning to look.
Stay tuned for more. December usually shows more sales than November, so it'll be interesting to see what this month holds for us!
